Nail style #4: solid purple.

I came across an aesthetically pleasing (read: prettily colored) display of Covergirl Outlast Stay Brilliant nail polishes at Walgreens the other day, and after a swift decision to break my New Year’s resolution a smidge, I made off with a handful of springy, pretty colors. I’m not usually a drugstore brand of nail polish kind of gal, but the colors made me too happy to pass up.

For day #4, I went with Vio-last. The polish went on smoothly (after a layer of base coat, of course). I went with two coats of the vio-last and finished with a layer of quick-drying top coat. We’ll see how long it takes for them to chip.

They really say “I’m super ready for spring but I’m not jumping into the pastels just yet,” don’t you think?
